When Dan isn’t helping customers find their perfect RV to enjoy the great outdoors, he can be found traveling, hiking, and camping in the Adirondacks, or spending time with his family and friends.

Dan is a graduate of Siena College with a Bachelors in Marketing and Management.

James Bearcroft, or simply Bearcroft as he’s affectionately known in the office, is one of our stellar business managers who will help with getting you out the door with the RV of your dreams.

Outside the office, James enjoys camping in the warmer months and riding his snowmobile in the winter with his daughter. He also competes with his neighbors to have the best lawn on the street.

A published author who enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, Novalie is sure to help you find the right RV Rental for your next family trip!

She likes to read and write, garden, go hiking, camping, and fishing with her family. She feels blessed to be able to spend time with her family (maybe with some ice cream!) and be able to watch the wildlife, along with a stray cat or two, pass through her property on the weekends when they’re enjoying their time together.

Mike enjoys riding his Harley. Going camping with his wife,(4) kids and (3) dogs. Mike has been camping since a young child and has continued the tradition with his children. His goal vacation spots are Australia and New Zealand. Quote: “You miss 100% of the shots you that you don’t take.”

Steve began his RV Outfitter career with Alpin Haus in 2001. He brought business management experience and great customer service skills into the RV buying experience and his customers love his care, his concern for their RV needs and his personal followup with them. Steve and his wife Hilda grew up in Amsterdam, N.Y. then relocated to Broadalbin where they raised their children that attended Broadalbin-Perth schools.

When Steve is not hard at work he enjoys great restaurants, a relaxing day fishing and the special times having fun with his family and creating great memories.

Jake has been working at Alpin Haus for over 10 years and camping his whole life. Whether its fishing our local lakes or hiking in the Adirondacks, you can find him spending most of his time outdoors. Having traveled to over 30 of our nation’s most popular national parks as well as having camped at many of our local state parks, Jake is happy to help you plan a cross country journey or just a weekend in the Adirondacks.

Don brings with him a vast array of customer service attributes. He will strive to be fair, convenient and honest with anyone he has the pleasure of helping outfit their RV.

Don remembers going camping in his families tag-a-long as a child. Now he passes along this family tradition to his young boys, RJ and Matthew. Don enjoys golfing, bowling and being a part of the Marc Johnson 3J dirt modified race team.

Charles joined the Alpin Haus team in 2017. His career in retail and hospitality management has given him valuable customer service experience. Outside of work, Charles enjoys mountain biking, camping, hunting and fishing. His personal love for the outdoors and desire to help others make working at Alpin Haus a great fit!

Scott has worked at Alpin Haus since 1999. He has worked in many different departments including RVs, boats and snowmobiles. He enjoys camping with his wife and three children especially at Sunset Bay Campground and Marina on the Great Sacandaga Lake. He also loves to golf, watch super cross, listening to audiobooks and most importantly spending time with his family. Scott takes pride in helping his customers purchase a camper that will fulfill their needs for many years to come.

CJ is happy to be the first person to welcome you to Alpin Haus RV of Amsterdam! She greets everyone with a warm and friendly smile and truly enjoys interacting with staff and customers. On her days off CJ enjoys antiquing, crafting, and repurposing furniture. She also loves camping with her husband and two sons.

Mary has been involved in title work for over 20 years along with being a notary. She loves spending time with her husband, two daughters, and five grandchildren. She enjoys reading and takes a yearly trip to Tennessee. Her family owns a few classic cars and loves to attend car shows. One of her favorites to drive is a '56 Fairlane!

Ollie has been involved with Alpin Haus as long as he can remember. Oliver was born July 3, 2020 and was eager to join the Alpin Haus family as soon as possible. His favorite part of working at Alpin Haus is the amount of belly rubs he receives on a daily basis and of course seeing all the customers that come in. Outside of work, Ollie enjoys spending time with his family as well as taking long walks and even longer naps.

Jonathan started working for Alpin Haus in 2006. He enjoys working with great people and selling fun! Jonathan likes to watch the Buffalo Bills in his free time.

Drew, started working with the Alpin Haus RV team in March of 2018 and has been lucky enough to work in the RV and Boat industry since 2006. When he is not at Alpin Haus, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters doing anything outdoors. He loves hiking, boating, running and being outside as much as possible. He also enjoys historic areas and searching for new and interesting restaurants. Drew is committed to excellent customer service and takes pride in giving his customers the best experience possible.

Paul is a native Rhode Islander who recently relocated to the area. When not at Alpin Haus, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters exploring new playgrounds. He takes pride in giving his customers the best experience he can and earning a customer for life.

Art enjoys a good technical project – like maintaining his sport touring motorcycle, renovating his house, and restoring a ’74 Plymouth Road Runner.

In 2017 he married his best friend and beautiful wife Richelle, and in 2018 joined Alpin Haus.

Steve has been in various sales roles sine 1993, most recently in sales management. In his spare time, Steve enjoys cooking for his family and attending live concerts and sporting events.

Duane loves the outdoors! He likes spending his time fishing, hiking, and hunting. Before coming to Alpin Haus, Duane spent time in Maine as an executive chef. One of his dreams is to one day be able to attend the Super Bowl!

2011. Geoff has a background in Sales Management.
Together his passion for serving people and his love of weekend camping brought him to his current outfitter position.

As a seasonal camper, Geoff enjoys hitting Adirondack Gateway Campground for weekends of fun and activities with his wife Heather, his son Matthew and their dog, Lily. Campfires, cookouts, and roasting starburst are his favorite part. Geoff and his family are huge St. Louis Cardinals fans.

Kimberly joined Alpin Haus in March 2022. Known as “Kimmer” to her family and coworkers. She enjoys spending time decorating and styling her home. She also enjoys entertaining which includes a monthly pot luck dinner at her home for her friends and family.

Kathy has enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks and the outdoors all her life. Since joining Alpin Haus in 2020, Kathy has elevated her camping opportunities by going “seasonal”. Cast Iron cooking and crafting are her favorite pastimes at the campground with her family. She also does woodworking, gardening and decorates every room in her home for Christmas.

Jenn is a native of Upstate New York. She has worked in the banking industry for 10 years before leaving for a career in Real Estate and raising her young children. Jennifer has an 8-year-old blue healer named Trigger. Jennifer’s and her kids enjoy their summers cooking, having picnics with family and swimming. Jennifer hopes to visit Europe in the future when her children are grown.

Zach joined Alpin Haus in 2024. He enjoys fishing, camping, and the outdoors. Zach is a big crimson tide fan and hopes to one day visit Yellowstone National Park.

Carter began working at Alpin Haus in May of 2022 as a delivery driver and sales lot porter. When he’s not at work he is avidly traveling playing softball all over the east coast. Carter has also been a volunteer firefighter/EMT since 2016 following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Carter enjoys spending time with his friends and family and helping others. Carter also is an avid baseball fan and his favorite team is the New York Mets!

Keith enjoys being outdoors year-round for fly fishing, skiing, and hiking. He also enjoys going to auto races and has restored numerous cars and trucks on the weekends.

Keith holds a degree in Business Administration and Drafting+Design, with a certificate in Marketing. Previously Keith was Sales Manager of the Year with various automotive dealerships and was Business Manager of the Year with Alpin Haus.

His favorite movies include My Cousin Vinny, A Christmas Story, Animal House, and Midnight Run.

Gus started working for Alpin Haus in 2024. He and his wife, Dana have two teenage boys, Jase and Troy who are very active in school and travel sports. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, cornhole, pickleball and watching NFL games. He and his family and friends love traveling the world. Some of the countries they have visited included Italy, Greece, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Curacao, Mexico, Colombia and many more.

Mark joined the Alpin Haus team in 2015. He enjoys fishing, hunting, kayaking, motorcycles and building his own fishing rods.

Asa started working for Alpin Haus in 2017. He joined the army right out of high school and was fortunate to spend several years stationed in Europe. He loves working for Alpin Haus because of the great family friendly environment. He also loves his job because he gets to be apart of some of the fondest memories campers will experience for years to come.

Mike started working for Alpin Haus in 2014. He enjoys RVing, boating and classic cars. Working for Alpin Haus is enjoyable for Mike because of the great relationship he has with his coworkers and customers. He loves hearing about all of the fun trips his customers have been on in the RV he has helped them purchase.

Dave joined Alpin Haus in 2024 as a new career path—getting back into retail after being in the corporate life for 25 years. He is excited to use his RV experience to help find what works best for families to create great memories and make the most of their time off. When not working, Dave loves to fish, listen to music, and spend time with his wife, their three girls, and golden retriever, Watson.

Outside of work, Ian enjoys working out, playing soccer, traveling, and going to concerts and sporting events. He graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2014 with a degree in Psychology. Ian was a member of the soccer team in college while he was also pursuing a passion for music as a full time DJ! His favorite foods are Mexican and Italian food and one day he hopes to travel across Europe!

Cheryl joined Alpin Haus in 2024 after moving to Delaware County from Queens, NY where she was a Catholic school teacher. In her free time, Cheryl loves spending time with her two sons, gardening, DIY projects, listening to music, and watching NHL games. As a young girl, Cheryl spent many years camping with her family at Twin Islands Campground in Roscoe, NY where she met some of her best friends. Camping and spending time in upstate NY have always had a special place in her heart, which is why she made the move from Queens. Her favorite part about working at Alpin Haus is interacting with her coworkers—They make her laugh! She also loves seeing customers who come in with excitement to pick up their new campers. She’s very happy in her new role as receptionist.

Alex started working for Alpin Haus in 2023. He and his wife, Kristy, have two daughters, Alexis and Amaya. Alex loves spending time outdoors by the fire enjoying the views of the lake outside his backyard. Alex also loves to golf as much as he can and is a fanatic New York Knicks fan. Alex hopes to travel the country one day and play as many golf courses as he can.

Kyle started working for Alpin Haus in 2024. He and his wife, Priscilla, have two children, three dogs, and a cat that help keep things interesting in the Knef household. He enjoys taking trips to the beach, hiking, camping, and anything that might spark a new experience for the family. Kyle is also an avid golfer and loves to snowboard.

Amy is very passionate about animals and has been involved in animal rescue since she was a teenager. She loves the outdoors and grew up riding horses. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and even teaches a Pain-n-Sip class that benefits an animal rescue. She’s a devoted wife and proud mother of her some, Michael, who also works at Alpin Haus.

Mike is a proud father of two twin boys, as well as his pups Norman and Minta. When he’s not spending time with them, he enjoys playing the drums and riding around in his Corvette.

Brandon started working at Alpin Haus in 2024. Brandon enjoyed camping with his grandfather when he was a kid. He worked hard and was a walk on to the football team at Temple University. In his free time Brandon loves to run and workout as well as spend time with his family and goddaughter.

Ray joined Alpin Haus in the spring of 2024, bringing a passion for outdoor activities and a love for nature to the team. Outside of work, Ray enjoys snowboarding, biking, hiking, hunting, and fishing—activities that reflect a deep appreciation for the outdoors. With a strong connection to adventure and the outdoors, Ray is committed to helping others make the most of their outdoor experiences at Alpin Haus.
